Here is the long-awaited final bracket. There are still a few inclusions/exclusions I don't feel great about - and I'm sure most people will argue that West Virginia should be in instead of Drexel, BYU, and Cal, but I'm going out on a limb here. WVU had 13 losses and only 4 wins over tournament-bound teams - only 1 one of which came over a projected 5-seed or better. Will I be at all surprised if they get in? No. Not one bit.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I've received multiple questions about Indiana, and admittedly let that one slip by focusing more on the 1-3 and 10-13 seeds than on those middling seeds in the past few weeks. Today's update bumps Indiana up a few lines.
ReplyDeleteWhile Cal might have a better profile, if they couldn't even win the conference, how can it really be better? If Washington isn't in you really alienate the conference as a whole, including Cal. I just don't think the committee can turn its back on the money or viewers the Pac12 brings to the table by not including their champion! Not that they shouldn't!!!

ReplyDeleteI agree South Florida is a lock. Winning at Louisville looks even better seeing them dominate teams at MSG. I also feel Drexel should be in Dayton and West Virginia should be at an 11 with Colorado movin to a 12.
